Well, we finished off the last of the Japanese gummies. Today’s flavor was grape. we had some mixed reviews…
E- tasted like a whole pitcher of grape Kool Aide shoved into a tiny gummy. 2 stars
C- nasty smell and taste- 1 star
B- the superior of all the Japanese gummies. 5
S- overpowering taste/smell- 1
M- really really good- 5
J- in her own words, “super-fantastic!”- 5
A- “They tried WAAAY too hard to make it taste like grape, so they made it overpoweringly grape-ey, which made it pretty disgusting, and yet somehow slightly desirable. Oh, and it smelled pretty good… ” 2 stars.
Well, the average was a nice average 3 1/3 stars. I personally thought these were pretty bad, but half of us gave them perfect scores! go figure.
This is E, back in control :) Today our friend C contributed to our ever-growing collection of gummies with a pack of multicolored Lego blocks. They were, just to clarify for all you confused people, gummies. Here’s what we thought:
E- purple- grape- perfect texture, good taste, nothing VERY special- 3.5
B- green- no real flavor, but a good texture. awarded 2 stars
M- too chewy, overly cherry, 3 stars
A- blue- good chew AND flavor. 3.5
S- blue raspberry- “awesome” was her only comment- 4.5 stars
J- yellow, lemon- 5
C- for some reason, C’s thoughts are not written down. I was not the “scribe” today, so it’s not MY fault :I but I’ll update when I find out. Anyway, the average was 3.5833333333333… et cetera, et cetera. We all seemed to have different ideas about these, but the average turned out to be just that- average. check back!
Howdy, faithful readers! As you can see, gummies are pretty popular at Kevin (our lunchtable). Everyone’s mom is going on a gummy shopping craze. Speaking of craze, if you have a favorite kind of gummy or you have a favorite gummy flavor that you’re crazy about, please tell us. Your opinions are important and maybe we’ll try your favs. Remember give me gumgum.
Okeedokee- We’re getting back on track. E has handed over the ratings to moi, A >Sardonic Laughter< so I will post all the ones we missed, starting with the most recent- enjoy!
These were really good! As we passed them around, we were all oohing and aahing about how great the gummies looked- and smelled. They were brightly colored, and shaped like Dots candies, with little smiley faces on them- cute, huh?!
J- green-5- not too chewy, good flavor
– Blue- 4- pretty good
S- Blue Rasberry- 5- Awesome taste, although it “got stuck in my braces”
E- green- 4- really good flavor, perfect texture
C- green- sour apple- 3- too chewy
M- Blue Razz- 5- Excellently chewy, ”Tastes just like a blue raspberry should taste!”
B- red- 5- ideal texture
A- red- 4.75 ( I do seem to mess up the average, don’t I?!) - A great burst of flavor
The average on these was an impressive4.46875- As you can see, some of us liked how chewy it was while others did not.
